Honoring Our American Military Heritage
Bisbee, AZ, is a town immersed in the past. Surrounded by mountains and old mining pits, our town embraces its heritage with well-preserved turn-of-the-century architecture. In fact, the jaw-dropping Trost architecture is what will first strike you when you walk into Legion Bar and Grill. From the moment you step through the 40-foot-tall glass doors, you’ll be ushered into a time when pin-up girls were all the rage and soldiers coming home from the war were treated with a hero’s welcome.
Our bar and grill makes its home in the former American Legion Club building—a 100-year-old (more or less) building with incredible vintage features. (Not to worry, Post 16 of the American Legion is still going strong in Bisbee. They’re just down the road a ways.) At Legion, we honor our town’s military history.
Here, you can enjoy great music, food, and drinks amidst vintage décor. Wander around with a drink in your hand and you can see framed letters from the 1930s and 1940s on the walls, along with authentic military and mining artifacts, and autographed photos of burlesque girls who used to perform here.
Our Old-Fashioned Values and Character
We may have some of the coolest new drinks, but our values and character are old-fashioned. It’s simple: We believe in doing right by others. All are welcome here (except vegans will probably not enjoy our BBQ). Our mission is to put a smile on your face. We’re all about good clean fun, positive vibes, and one hell of a good time.
We Support Our Local Community
At our bar and grill, we believe in taking care of our own. It’s the American Way, and it guides all that we do. Beyond offering discounts to military service members, first responders, the border patrol, and other local residents (see The Fun page), Legion is proud to give back to the community that’s given us so much.
We proudly support the local public education system and the local hospital. We also enjoy supporting local kids, especially through the Boys and Girls Club. In addition, we enjoy working with the local art community, striving toward maintaining the integrity of our vibrant street art scene and encouraging more artists to come to Bisbee.

Legion Bar and Grill is known as a fun and funky place to leave your worries behind for a while, meet some new friends and relax with old ones, and enjoy the best live music, specialty drinks, craft beer, and Southern-style BBQ in the area. In fact, it’s the only place around here to enjoy all those things under one roof, but that’s not all.
Our second story is where the American Legion Club formerly hosted private dinners and burlesque shows. Now, you can book it for your own private party. It’s the perfect space to host a corporate event, bachelor/bachelorette party, NFL fantasy draft party, or any type of private event you wish—both large and small.
