Step Back Into Times Gone By
You can drink with history here at Legion, and that’s more than just a figure of speech. When we first purchased the former American Legion Club building with plans to convert it into the liveliest, friendliest bar restaurant in Bisbee, we didn’t know we’d find some historic treasures tucked away in a secret safe.
Now, step inside and check out the contents of that safe for yourself. You’ll see over two dozen letters on the wall from the 1930s and 1940s. These letters are job applications, but not like any you’ll see today. Explore the rich history of the area, including stories of military veterans. You’ll also see old school autographed photos of pin-up girls (the building formerly hosted burlesque shows). Stepping into our bar restaurant is truly like stepping back in time.

Our Historic Private Events Venue in Bisbee
Legion set up shop in the former American Legion Club building—a historic site in the heart of Bisbee. On the second floor, the American Legion formerly hosted extravagant dinner parties and burlesque shows. Now, you can host your own private event against this historic backdrop.
We enjoy hosting events both large and small, including but not limited to:
